My voice is hoarse this week from yelling at baseball games, cheering on not only my kid’s team, but sometimes the kids on the other teams, just because that’s the way it is in small towns.
And I didn’t get to drive by the IHS kids last Friday on CR 318, but if I had, I would have cheered for them, too.
And for the musicians and parents who organized Saturday’s Music Round Up, which attracted 200 people — bravo! Encore! Do it again!
Whether it’s sports, graduating, academics, turning off the TV for a day, or picking up trash, I hope you’ll join me in cheering on our local youth.
They’re showing a lot of energy and commitment, and I hope they continue making this world a better place.
