Baseball team raising funds for state

Pine River Youth Baseball is pleased to announce that our first team has qualified for the Colorado State Little League tournament.

The Bayfield 9-10 All Stars will compete in Grand Junction starting July 26. We defeated Ignacio, Cortez and Durango to win the 9-10 district tournament. That leaves us a little more than a week to raise funds for what could be a five-day stay in Grand Junction.

The members of our team are Gabe Tucson, Caleb Lake, Michael Everett, Deegan Barnes, Teagan Roukema, Andrew Peacock, Devin Avery, Austin Twedt, Cael Schaefer, Caden Wood, Lance Mazur, Andy Monger, Isaac Ross and Mitchell Story.

They are coached by Coach Mike Wood and Assistant Coaches Tom Au and Adam Tucson.

Any donation you can make at this time is most appreciated.

Checks can be made out to Pine River Youth Baseball
