KSUT names executive director

After a nationwide search, KSUT public radio has named Robert Franklin as its new executive director. Franklin has more than 20 years of management experience with National Public Radio affiliated stations at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, Western Illinois University, Arkansas State University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, and other stations. An award-winning radio and documentary film producer, his career also includes teaching a variety of college media communications courses.

"I'm pleased to announce this next step in KSUT's future," said Richard Hoehlein, president of KSUT's board of directors. "Dr. Franklin brings strong leadership skills to KSUT at an opportune time, as we focus on new initiatives for serving our diverse and ever-growing community."

KSUT has a listenership of 250,000 in the Four Corners region.   Upon his arrival on Jan. 26, Franklin began working closely with the KSUT board and staff as the station continues planning and implementation of its capital campaign goals and strategic vision for the future.

Saleh joins Wells Fargo Advisors

David Saleh has joined the Durango office of Wells Fargo Advisors as its first vice president for investments. He was previously a financial dvisor with Edward Jones.

Saleh has earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist designation and has 13 years of experience in the financial services industry. A resident of Durango, Saleh earned a bachelor of business administration degree in finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
