The Board of Directors of Heart Safe La Plata would like to Thank Purgatory Reort and the people of our local area for their generous donation of $3,845 raised during the 2015-2016 Local Benefit Days. All of the money we have received will be used to update our existing inventory of AEDs. There are 335 AEDs in La Plata and San Juan Counties that we are watching over. Heart Safe La Plata, working as a Task Force under the La Plata County Emergency Medical Services Council, has already made a difference and saved lives in our community. Thanks to everyone who made the Local Benefit Days happen, we can continue to perform this life-saving work in our community.
