The Durango Chamber of Commerce is the 2016 recipient of the Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry (CACI) coveted "Best New Fundraiser" award.
The chamber won the award for its inaugural 2015 Management Conference, with more than 120 attendees. The Durango chamber received the award at this year's Colorado Chamber of Commerce Executive (CCCE) spring conference in May in Parker.
Chamber executives from across the state convene to learn, share and network with peers at this annual event.
"This conference is a great venue to network with other chamber executives from across the state in addition to receiving some great training on issues pertinent to the chamber industry," said Jack Llewellyn, executive director of the Durango Chamber of Commerce. "The highlight of the conference is the awards event, where chambers from across the state are recognized for their hard work and dedication. It is great to see our chamber and staff acknowledged for their efforts."
