St. Ignatius Catholic Church and community volunteers will host the 116th annual San Ignacio Fiesta tomorrow and Sunday in Ignacio.
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fiesta Market at the ELHI gym (old Ignacio Elementary School.) Vendors and door prizes.
10 a.m. 71st annual parade on Goddard Avenue. Line up begins at 9 a.m. at St. Ignatius Church. No registration required, cash prizes!
After the parade: family events in Shoshone Park, horseshoe tournament, SUCAP duck race. Events this year include watermelon and jalapeno eating contests.
11:30 a.m. Brisket cook off, serving begins at Farmers Fresh Market.
8 p.m. to midnight Fiesta dance with Cuarenta Y Cinco at the Sky Ute Casino Event Center. $20 adults, $10 for kids 12 and under. Cash bar and concession available.
Fiesta Royalty will be crowned at 10 p.m.
10:30 a.m. Fiesta Mass at St. Ignatius Church
Fiesta dinner follows at noon, with music, bingo for fun and a bazaar. The annual raffle is at 1:30 p.m.
