Club practices random acts of kindness

On Nov. 8, members of the Friends of Rachel Club presented their workshop at the conference for the International Association of Bullying Prevention and it was an overwhelming success.

They were all poised and professional and they represented BHS very well.

The conference has been amazing and our students are like mini-celebrities. Everywhere we go people want to ask them questions and talk to them about the things we are doing at BHS. They have definitely made an impact on this conference.

Throughout our trip to New Orleans, they have been practicing random acts of kindness and it has been amazing to see the results.

They have handed out Starbucks gift cards, put sticky notes around town, and written notes to people throughout the trip.

They have also been talking to these people and getting their stories. I have never been more impressed with these students.

They have also made some wonderful connections with influential people from around the world. Stay tuned for articles about these kids! They have been like consultants and politicians collecting business cards like crazy.

Thank you all for your support.
