BHS loses semi-final game to Platte Valley, 31-6

Heckuva season, guys! Hope everyone has a safe trip home. Final score 31-6. Platte Valley will play Kent Denver for state 2A championship next Saturday.
Bayfield fumbles the ball, Platte Valley recovers, kneels for the last two plays of the game.
Broncos got ball, then fumbled, we have the ball back. 2:30 left in game.
TJ Pazell gets an interception! Come on guys!
31-6 Bayfield! TJ Pazell runs it in.
Two-point conversion attempt no good, but at least we're on the board.
Platte Valley gets another touchdown, two minutes left in third quarter. 31-0.
Bayfield stops Platte Valley's final drive! 275-pound Zane Westrbrook makes the tackle. Bayfield gets the ball with one second left, doesn't get any yards. Come on guys, let's turn it around!

A Platte Valley field goal was good, but a penalty flag was thrown and they received a 5-yard penalty. Kicked again and was good, 18-0.
Bayfield's punt gets blocked, then recovered into the end zone. 14-0 Platte Valley.
Extra point good, 15-0. OK, now we're going to get in gear, right?
