Community member organizing a search for missing teen

Members of the community are organizing a search Thursday morning, Nov. 21.

Details are as follows:

Anybody wishing to help search the Greater Vallecito Lake Area please meet Anne and Jarrett Cook at the Schank House parking lot bet
ween 9:45 and 10:15 a.m. They will be your volunteer coordinators for that area.
Anyone wishing to help search Forest Lakes area please meet Denise Hess and Mason Hess at the Forest Lakes entrance parking lot between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
Searchers will be knocking on doors, checking empty houses, barns, sheds etc.
Volunteers are being asked to dress in layers, and bring water and a snack. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress in layers

THEY ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS TO SEARCH BAYFIELD AND IGNACIO AREA - IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BEING A COORDINATOR FOR THAT AREA PLEASE EMAIL mountainkatt@gmail.com. OR IF THERE IS SOMEONE THAT CAN HEAD UP THE FOREST LAKES SEARCH DENISE CAN MOVE TO THE BAYFIELD SEARCH.
IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO CHECK IN WITH THE AREA COORDINATORS AT THE GIVEN TIMES SO THAT EVERYONE CAN BE ACCOUNTED FOR.
If you are planning to look anywhere on your own make sure you contact the La Plata County Sheriff's office at 385-2900 and let them know where you are searching.
