Parents of Dylan Redwine talk to Dr. Phil in two-part show 2/22/2013 By: Times staff report
Times staff report On Wednesday, Mark Redwine, Elaine and Cory Redwine, and Mark Redwine's son and first ex-wife taped an episode of Dr. Phil in Los Angeles. They discussed their missing son and brother, Dylan Redwine, who disappeared from Vallecito on Nov. 19 when he flew to Durango for a court-ordered visit with his father. His disappearance has prompted a national search and a task force of federal, state and local police looking for him. No major clues have been reported to the public in his disappearance. Denise Hess, a friend of Elaine Redwine, appeared on the show and said the taping went well, but added no one can disclose any details because of confidentiality agreements signed with the show. The segment will show on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the show's producers. Dr. Phil McGraw's daytime TV show covers families and the problems they face. Topics include divorce, online dating, "out-of-control family drama," and drug use. It plays at 3 p.m. weekdays on Channel 13 from Albuquerque and 4 p.m. on Channel 4 in Denver.
