Ignacio Jr. High students hospitalized after gas leak

About 30 students from Ignacio Jr. High School were transported to area hospitals Monday after gas leaked at the school.
An Ignacio mother reported her son was at Mercy Regional Medical Center for treatment for a few hours this afternoon but has been released.
Other student were sent to Animas Surgical Center.

* BHS baseball is off to the Great Eight! The third-ranked Wolverines play Brush, ranked sixth, at 10 a.m. Friday, May 17 at UNC-Greeley. The winner of that game plays either Faith Christian or Lamar at 3 p.m. Friday. The semi-final game is at 3 p.m. Saturday, the final four teams play in the state finals on May 24 and 25 in Greeley. This is a double-elimination tournament this weekend. The complete bracket is at www.chsaa.org. Also playing are first-ranked Eaton, 20-0, Kent Denver, La Junta and Holy Family. Go Wolverines!
