Flood watch in effect from noon Sunday until Monday afternoon

The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch until Monday afternoon. Rains started Saturday afternoon, caused by moisture from Mexico and Tropical Storm Ivo, according to the NWS. Continuing rains are possible, with as much as two inches falling today and this evening in Southwest Colorado and eastern Utah.
A flood watch means there is potential for flooding based on current forecasts. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action if floods develop.
This afternoon's forecast calls for a 90% chance of rain, and 80% tonight, with 30% Monday morning. Today's high is 67, with a low of 53. Warming tomorrow to a high of 76. The forecast calls for a 20% chance of storms Monday and Tuesday, clearing up Wednesday.
