More snow on the way 1/20/2010 By: Times staff report
More snow could be on the way tonight, and a 90 percent chance of snow falling Thursday, according to the National Weather Service. The town of Bayfield is requesting all streets with curbs be clear tonight for plowing from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Any cars left on the street can be towed.
Here is today's forecast: Wednesday night : A 20 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 17. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
Thursday: Snow. High near 33. North northeast wind 5 to 15 mph becoming south. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
Thursday Night: Snow. Low around 28. East southeast wind between 5 and 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
Friday: Snow. High near 37. South wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
Friday Night: A 50 percent chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a low around 22. Southwest wind between 10 and 15 mph.
Saturday: A 30 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 32.
Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 13.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 31.
Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 9.
