Corol Marie Hanson
Corol Marie Hanson died Feb. 18, 2008.
She was born in Arlington, Calif. on Aug. 4, 1925. She graduated from Woodbury College and married Carl Hanson, Jr. on the Bride and Groom radio show on July 10, 1947. They were married for 60 years.
Corol was a member of the Presbyterian Church where she was involved in numerous activities.
Corol is survived by her husband Carl of Bayfield; daughters Lucy Marie, Cindy Donelan and her husband Bill, and Cherie Hanson of Bayfield; brother, Bob Briggs and his wife Shirley; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one nephew.
A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at the First Presbyterian Church in Durango.
Please wear bright, colorful casual wear to celebrate her life.
