Stage left or stage right, the Ignacio Bobcats’ basketball exit was unexpectedly abrupt. Last weekend both the boys’ and girls’ teams were eliminated from State Championship contention, in the “Big Dance’s” regional phase. Here’s the mathematics, compiled on site, from the squads’ final on-court appearances of the 2011-12 prep season:
